The Whole Story AR app is a groundbreaking platform created by Y&R in collaboration with Current. The app celebrates influential women through virtual statues placed in iconic locations worldwide. This project took flight with nearly 60 statues across 12 countries, making waves as a finalist in five categories at the Cannes Festival for Creativity. The magic of The Whole Story lies in its ability to let users immerse themselves in the incredible stories of remarkable women. But here's where it gets even cooler: the public could contribute too! Users are able to upload their own 2D or 3D female statues, and these empowering figures would grace prominent spots globally. What's truly impressive is that this project came to life in just six weeks, right before the AR ground plane detection revolution. It became the first consumer app of its kind available in a whopping 12 countries. The Whole Story AR app has not only carved a place in history but also paved the way for more inclusivity and recognition of remarkable women worldwide.
