PROJECT DESCRIPTION
For Kraft Peanut Butter, Current teamed up with the forward-thinking minds at Rethink to create a custom Machine Learning model that lives on the front end of a react site. Current’s team started by assembling a massive dataset featuring thousands of peanut butter jars in various states of emptiness. After some meticulous annotation and rigorous training, our ML model became a pro at spotting and recognizing empty peanut butter jars. Current wrote a script that would take the patterns of the remaining peanut butter in the jar and if the jar is empty enough, the remaining peanut butter becomes a unique Q’“jar” code. The Q”jar” code could then be redeemed for a free jar of Kraft Peanut Butter. This is a really fun use of AR and Machine Learning that spices up sweepstakes and influences consumer behavior. It's a unique app that's as tasty as it is clever!
