PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Marriott Hotels decided to turn one of its 446-room hotels in Charlotte, North Carolina, into a real-life testing ground. The goal? To experiment with fresh amenities, designs, and procedures directly with their guests. As part of this innovative approach, Current designed, programmed, prototyped, and created sleek black and red "like" buttons. These buttons were about the size of NEST thermostats and were strategically placed around the hotel. What was the idea behind these buttons? Guests could simply press a button to “like” features of the various hotel facilities, like the fitness center, restaurant, or rooms. This gave guests a fun and interactive way to interact with their hotel and gave Marriott the ability to gather valuable feedback and insights from their valued guests. Beta Button was a fresh way to approach hotel feedback and provided Marriott with a metric measurement tool to help bring the hotel chain into the future.
