PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Our assignment was to make the Acura NSX shine at the Sundance Film Festival. Current did this by creating an engaging and shareable experience that captured the festival's spirit while showcasing the exciting NSX. In a collaborative effort with MullenLowe, we crafted a captivating interactive experience that enhanced the Acura NSX's presence. The inspiration came from a stunning 20' mural by the renowned artist Reuben Wu. This mural served as the canvas for an immersive digital journey. To engage attendees, we developed an interactive Augmented Reality (AR) experience. Using motion-controlled tablets, festival-goers could transform the mural into a dynamic 3D landscape, making it a truly hands-on experience. We also introduced an AR photo booth where attendees could capture personalized videos against the scenic backdrop of Park City. By integrating the iconic Sundance logo into the AR booth, we not only created a connection with the NSX and the festival but also gave attendees a unique keepsake. The outcome was a seamless blend of art and technology. Current Studios delivered this multifaceted Acura NSX experience at Sundance, allowing attendees to actively engage, create lasting memories, and embrace the festival's essence while shining a spotlight on the Acura’s flagship NSX.
