PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Current worked with agency Sid Lee to create an exciting and interactive experience to get fans hyped up for the launch of Batman: Arkham Knight. The Mystery Unveiled: To build excitement for the highly anticipated game, we crafted a website filled with secrets and surprises. Fans had to crack secret codes hidden on social media to unlock exclusive content. The website had a countdown that revealed a mysterious 3D map with changing coordinates. Cracking the Code: Each set of coordinates acted as a three-digit code to reveal image content on the site. As fans collected these images, they pieced together a larger map that unraveled more about Batman's origin story while referencing the character’s “World’s Greatest Detective” cred. The Big Reveal: But the secrets didn't stop there. Players soon realized that all the codes from the timed events combined to form the barcode of a special Detective Comics issue. When they entered '761,941,364,995' into Google, it led them to Detective Comics #359, the debut of Batgirl! The Grand Finale: On the last day of the campaign, fans were treated to the trailer for the highly anticipated DC Fandome event. Both Rocksteady and WB Montreal unveiled their games, making it a grand finale to an epic campaign.
