For the launch of Twisted Lime Doritos at Circle K stores across North America, Current Studios engineered an innovative augmented reality (AR) experience to engage consumers in a zesty new way. Upon entering any Circle K location, customers were invited to participate by spinning a virtual AR wheel displayed on their mobile devices. This interactive element allowed users to delve into the world of Doritos' various flavors. Landing on the Twisted Lime option transported participants into a dynamic, lime-themed virtual environment, enhancing the brand's immersive experience. The campaign featured a sweepstakes, offering entrants the chance to win one of two exclusive Doritos-branded Quest 3 headsets. The initiative drew immense participation, with hundreds of thousands of entries, proving the effectiveness of integrating AR technology with experiential marketing to amplify consumer engagement and product excitement.
